To apply for MCA membership, first check that your firm complies with the basic membership criteria below and then fill in an application form, by downloading the pdf below.

Please open the application form (pdf), print and return the completed form to MCA with the appropriate material.

Our basic membership criteria require that firms:

1.     Have been in practice in the UK for at least three years

2.     Employ at least ten consultants on a full time basis

3.     Practice management consultancy as a strategic activity and offer at least two main consultancy services from the following:

·         Strategy

·         Marketing

·         HR

·         Business Process Re-engineering

·         Change Management

·         Economic & Environmental

·         Financial

·         Marketing & Corporate Communications

·         Operations

·         Programme/project management

·         Outsourcing advice

·         IT consulting

4.     Offer fact-based advice

5.     Provide evidence of ring-fenced consultancy

6.     Offer customised solutions

7.     Upon application, we require that applicants: 

8.     Provide five client references who will be contacted personally by the MCA

9.     Provide the previous three years' accounts

10.  Agree to abide by the MCA Code of Professional Conduct
