2015 MCA Awards – Open for entries in just two weeks

Entries to the 2015 MCA Awards open in just two weeks, and the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) has announced a new award for the Best Use of Thought Leadership. The Awards will be held in association with The Times.

This new award will identify the piece of Thought Leadership by a consulting firm which the judges believe has had the greatest impact. The impact could be in developing the capabilities and skills of the firm, launching a new service, supporting excellent client service and projects, stimulating wider debate in management and public policy, or in building brand and marketing strength.

With this new category there will be 23 categories: 14 project categories and six individual categories. A further three overall awards are – Project of the Year, Consultant of the Year and Best New Consultancy. All the awards are judged by a panel of independent expert judges with experience of working in the private and public sectors, universities, consultancy and journalism.

Entries can be purchased from the MCA Awards website from 22nd September 2014, but MCA members should login to the MCA member area to benefit from the discounted rate. The purchase entry deadline is 31st October 2014, and all written award entries must be submitted by 7th November 2014.

Alan Leaman, CEO of the MCA said:

“We’re looking forward to another great awards process. Each year the standard and variety of award submissions rises and the awards themselves grow stronger and more competitive. They are the best way to showcase excellence in consulting, whether your firm is an MCA member or not. In recent years we have also seen increasing engagement by clients, who value the Awards and certainly enjoy the evening.

Besides the well- established project and individual consultant categories, we believe that the Thought Leadership Award will generate real enthusiasm and commitment from all types of consulting firm. We’re expecting a strong flow of entries when we open online in just two weeks.”

The winning case studies and runners up will be announced and celebrated at a gala dinner at the Park Plaza Westminster on 23rd April 2015, with the winners featured in a special Times supplement after the main event.
