Supporting Depaul UK
Depaul UK is the chosen charity of the MCA. Depaul provides safe accommodation, training and support to homeless young people throughout the UK. Over the past four years, the MCA has raised more than £20,000 to help homeless young men and women, and over the last year has raised:
- £4,076 at the 2010 MCA Management Awards
- £3,200 at the 2009 MCA Management Awards
- £6,700 at the 2008 MCA Management Awards
- £1,500 at the 2008 Young MCA Charity Challenge
- £1,000 from sponsorship of Alan Leaman’s Royal Parks Half Marathon 2008.
About Depaul UK
Depaul UK protects, empowers and educates homeless and disadvantaged young people. What started as a single hostel in 1989, Depaul now operates throughout the UK, helping more than 4,000 homeless young men and women in London and the Southeast, the West Midlands, Northwest, Northeast, and Yorkshire & Humberside, every year. Depaul UK has helped nearly 40,000 since first opening its doors.
