Spectra is no longer being published by the MCA, but all previous editions are now available to download from our website. Its focus was on translating strategy into action and its objective was to be a leading showcase for management thinking and practice, providing distinctive and high quality writing in a non-technical and accessible format.

The first edition also carries an interview with former FT editor, Andrew Gowers, on the future of the publishing industry. According to Gowers “The Internet, which he described as “a disruptive technology,” has changed the whole nature of the newspaper industry and made nonsense of the old business model.”
The second issue of Spectra online included articles on NHS reform and why it won't work without Management consultants, British manufacturing and why merges fail. The Issue also carried an interview with BT's Chief Technology officer Matt Bross.
