The MCA has published a new report entitled Who wants to be a management consultant? - A study of the veiws and experience of recent recruits to consultancy.
Sponsored by specialist consultancy recruiters Mindbench, and based on a survey and focus groups of young consultants from the MCA's Young MCA network, the report gives an in-depth account of the views of younger consultants, their experiences, their background and their future plans.
The report gives statistics and analysis of their views on job satisfaction, work-life balance and salary. It also looks at routes into consulting, competing industries and perceptions of the industry from the outside, plus the all important debate on gender.
Based on these results, the MCA gives recommendations to improve the industry and to attract and retain new recruits.
