Awards Workshop

           5.30 - 7.00pm, Workshop

 

Each year we hold an Awards Workshop, to allow Awards coordinators the opportunity to come and hear from the MCA about the Awards process as a whole and obtain perspectives from members of the judges panel.  This event will cover the following:

  • Awards programme including key dates, hints & tips
  • Awards writing advice
  • Judges insight into the Awards, including what they look for in both the written entries and interviews, and the role of the client.
  • Plus provide an opportunity for Q&A with all the panellists.

 

Panellists:

Sian Edwards - MCA Head of Commercial, Events & Membership  Is managing her 5th MCA Awards programme so will cover the programme and answer any questions
Paul Connolly - MCA Think Tank Director  Will cover the new Consulting Excellence categories, and provides an additional perspective as he was an Awards judge before joining the MCA
Pat Newberry - bio  Pat has been an Awards judge since 2014 following retirement from PwC - he has judged a range of categories including Best Use of Thought Leadership

Mitchell Leimon - bio

 Mitchell has been an Awards judge since 2014 and specialises in the public sector categories, covering both projects and individuals
Jan Gower - bio  Jan has also been an Awards judge since 2014, and covers a range of the categories, both project and individuals. 

 

Consultancy Firm allocation

Due to the limited space in the Boardroom we are only able to allocate one space per consultancy firm, however, if there are additional places available nearer the date we will let those companies who have requested an additional place know.
