Dr Katharina Reusch, Capgemini Invent

Technology Consultant of the Year

MCA Awards 2026 Finalist

Since joining as a senior manager in 2024, Dr Katharina Reusch has single-handedly built the agentic AI offering for Invent UK, driving product development, sales and training. She excels at creating custom-made AI solutions for clients, achieving enormous impact and cost savings.

A thinker and doer, she bridges the gap between AI strategy and technical execution. She engineers and implements solutions commercially available products often don’t provide. Katharina excels at explaining issues in simple terms, helping stakeholders make informed decisions. She’s a thought leader on LinkedIn and in the media and has made a name for herself and the firm as the go-to experts in AI transformations, achieving double the sales targets for agentic solutions in 2025.

Working with a major government client, Katharina built an agentic AI tool that’s cheaper, safer, more flexible and longer-lasting than off-the-sheIf products. It processes 150,000 requests weekly from 15,000-plus users. Building this solution in-house, rather than buying a commercial licence, reduced the cost for the client by 99%, saving tens of millions of pounds.

The solution provided the client with full data sovereignty and reduced cybersecurity risks.

For a celebrated project at the IWM, Katharina created a tool that transcribed historic audio recordings with a level of accuracy no commercial product offered. It took two days to process 45,000 files, compared with the 22 years it would have taken to do so manually.

Katharina’s a role model for her daughters and all women aspiring to leadership roles in tech.
