Since joining IMPOWER as manager 15 years ago, she has gone on to lead the consultancy’s financial sustainability offer for public sector clients, driving “good savings” while delivering better outcomes. It’s now at the heart of the firm’s work – steered and refined by Ebony across the business in often highly complex projects.
Her dedication to supporting colleagues’ growth while embedding ESG principles across workstreams have further enhanced the company’s reputation while delivering commercial results. For example, during Ebony’s short tenure as Head of Delivery before stepping up to Chief Operating Officer, project profitability improved by 17 percentage points.
Over the last two years she has taken on a wider role that epitomises the power of values-driven management consultancy. Having worked successfully with local government clients over many years to transform critical service areas, Ebony has taken that learning to shape the consultancy’s new Complex Transformation Academy. It will play a leading role in enabling leaders across local government to deliver transformation that saves public money while delivering better outcomes.
