Inclusion Award

MCA Awards 2026 Finalist

Liz left a decade-long career as a City lawyer to fulfil her purpose of building inclusive workplaces as a Culture and Inclusion consultant.

Liz grew up across cultures in Hong Kong, Sydney, Singapore and London. Her family has experienced life as immigrants, life under colonial rule and life as part of the ‘majority group’. The urgency to examine power, fairness, inclusion (and exclusion) was ever present from a young age.

In client delivery, Liz is recognised for focusing each project team’s efforts on what needs to change, how to deliver this and how to measure impact. Her approach to building inclusive workplaces is to always understand the client focus and the existing culture, starting with the evidence and examining the root causes – so all solutions she delivers drive real impact.

Liz gets to the heart of the issues by immersing herself into the culture of each organisation with active listening, empathy and critical-thinking. She feels privileged to have advocated for hundreds of employees across organisations through her profession.

Liz regularly shares thought leadership on diversity, equity and inclusion within the MCA community and her wider global network of leaders and culture professionals. She is a Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Benchmarks certified practitioner, enabling her to conduct assessments on how organisations are embedding equity and inclusion and provide actionable recommendations based on expert, global standards.
