Giles is a Chartered Management Consultant who has spent 20 years leading transformation in some of the public sector’s most demanding environments. He is at his best working in complex organisations, restoring momentum to programmes and ensuring critical systems continue to run seamlessly. As an experienced leader, he brings clarity and structure to his teams, helping them make better decisions and deliver change that lasts.
His work has combined strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. During the pandemic, as interim Chief Architect for a major UK Government department, he helped stabilise systems, led critical technology replacement and supported services relied on by British citizens worldwide. More recently, he has helped shift a major border capability from programme-led delivery to product-based working, aligning hundreds of colleagues around continuous improvement.
