Jane is a technology and transformation leader shaping a resilient and sustainable future for the global energy system. She brings clarity, structure and momentum to largescale programmes, combining deep sector expertise with a calm, peoplecentred leadership style. Her ability to align functions, simplify complexity and create delivery certainty in highstakes environments has made her a trusted leader across government, disruptive technology firms and global industrial organisations. Her impact spans technology, people, process and operating model transformation, demonstrated through major programmes for the National Energy System Operator (NESO) and Kraken Technologies.
At NESO, Jane delivered the most consequential programme in the UK energy system in recent years. She led a 200person effort to stand up the National Energy System Operator from Day 1, ensuring systems, governance structures, processes and organisational capabilities were fully operational. Her leadership enabled NESO to immediately accelerate progress toward net zero, strengthen longterm energy security and support the transition to a more flexible, efficient system.
Subsequently, she led NESO’s first AI strategy. Recognising AI’s potential across planning, operations, engineering and forecasting, she developed a clear roadmap spanning highvalue use cases, disruptive tools, innovation partnerships and the data and governance needed for responsible adoption.
In her work with Kraken Technologies — a global energy platform transforming utility operations — Jane currently leads initiatives to strengthen governance, embed automation, improve tooling and build delivery discipline, while protecting Kraken’s culture of empowerment, trust and customer obsession.
