Apprentice of the Year

Rachael consistently performs far beyond the expectations of her grade, combining emotional intelligence, curiosity and a people centred mindset to deliver impact well beyond her grade. Colleagues describe her as trusted, influential and commercially aware, with a “bubbly, infectious personality” that strengthens every team she joins.
Rachael plays a pivotal role in shaping the experience of junior talent at PwC. She cocreated and lead the Rising Stars programme, the firm’s first leadership initiative for highperforming junior talent, improving engagement, capability and consistency across teams and territories. Senior leaders rely on her insight and judgement to turn the voices of junior colleagues into meaningful, strategic action. Through this work, Rachael clearly demonstrates that apprentices are not just future leaders, they are leaders now.
Alongside this peoplefocused impact, Rachael delivers tangible operational and organisational value. Through the Career Pathways programme, she has helped deepen trusted client relationships and strengthen PwC’s position as a longterm partner. During the firm’s transition from Google to Microsoft, she identified a critical capability gap, rapidly upskilled, and became Consulting’s goto expert for SharePoint and Asana, reducing delivery risk and championing its adoption.
Rachael leads with clarity, high standards and empathy. She has delivered major events for hundreds of colleagues across grades, managed confidential, businesscritical processes, and acts as a trusted bridge between senior leadership and earlycareer talent.
