Robert Thomas joined Amey after completing an MSci in Mathematics, where he developed a strong interest in applying analytical thinking to real-world problems.
Now a Graduate Data Scientist in the Advisory Team at Amey, Robert has taken on responsibility for high-impact projects, delivering tangible value for both clients and the organisation. He is particularly motivated by transforming complex, disorganised data into actionable insight and by helping clients improve the way they work – not just the tools they use.
Robert has consistently been trusted to take ownership of challenging assignments, including redesigning operational processes to prevent future issues, stabilising projects without prior knowledge transfer, or contributing to wider innovation initiatives. He thrives in situations where he must adapt quickly, translate complex information for non-technical stakeholders, and ensure solutions are practical and sustainable.
