Rising star

Whilst working as a medical doctor, Sahil experienced the reality many clinicians face: delivering care within overstretched and fragmented systems hinders patient outcomes. Determined to tackle these systemic challenges, he pivoted into consulting, where he helps organisations design structures that enable teams to perform effectively for the people they serve. His clinical background brings judgement, empathy and decisiveness, allowing him to translate frontline realities into practical improvements for complex organisations.
Since joining EY, Sahil has made an immediate and measurable impact across complex, high-profile engagements. At Bupa, he drew on his clinical expertise to develop 12 priority recommendations for senior leadership, informing decisions on scaling cancer care pathways. At UNICEF, he requested KPI data and identified that 26% of medicines were discarded due to expiry, prompting a review of global supply chain processes to improve humanitarian aid efficiency. He also led the inaugural National Highways Roads Academy graduation for 60 graduates, coordinating a team of 10 to produce an event that received sector-wide attention and has since been repeated. He is currently the stakeholder engagement lead for HS2’s Assurance Transformation, using his people-centred approach to tailor communications and strengthen confidence in the programme.
Sahil’s impact extends beyond client work. As co-chair of EY’s South Asian Community, he supports over 900 members and uses his platform to emphasise the importance of psychological safety and open spaces for communication. He also serves as a trustee of Shishukunj, supporting thousands of young people to become positive contributors to their communities.
