Tom is a technology consultant disrupting the traditional consultancy model. As Deloitte’s AI as a Service lead, Tom was the driving force behind the creation of an innovative multi-client, subscription-based engagement model.
Partnering with six global procurement leaders, Tom forged cross-industry collaboration amongst clients to unify their roadmap. After identifying shared challenges and architecting community governance and agent design blueprints, Tom directed end-to-end delivery of a solution that has since matured into a new industry benchmark.
The AI agents delivered through this initiative have reduced procurement cycle times by 20%, accelerated client ROI by pooling resources, and optimised AI token usage by four times, meaning a 75% reduced carbon contribution. Tom is recognised as a thought leader, with his methodologies for agent design serving as the firm’s blueprint for AI excellence.
Tom’s leadership extends globally. He spearheaded the growth of a new supply chain technology capability in Egypt, growing in one year to nearly 50 professionals supporting supply chain & procurement programmes, bridging the gap between EMEA demand and emerging Egyptian tech talent.
Having joined Deloitte as a beneficiary of their Social Impact initiative, 5 Million Futures, Tom has come full circle, leading volunteering & impact programmes directly supporting over 2,000 young individuals – ensuring his legacy isn’t just faster procurement cycles, but a more inclusive consulting sector.
