Join the MCA for a practical session aimed at helping male team members understand how their day-to-day actions can support women’s careers in consulting. This session is about what people do in real situations on projects, in teams, with clients and in everyday interactions and how those actions positively impact women in the workplace helping progression, confidence and opportunity.
The facts are clear. While progress has been made women remain significantly underrepresented at senior levels in consulting. The focus of this session is not on senior leadership at the top, but on the practical choices made by people managers, project leads, young consultants and colleagues as part of normal work.
We will be joined by Bertie Paradise, Director – Transformation & Programme Delivery in Government and Public Sector, EY, Marco Hilgers, Senior Director – Travel and Transport, Capgemini Invent, Ben Tucker, Social Value Lead, QinetiQ and Abs Sivanadarajah, Manager, Enfuse Group.
Speakers will share honest reflections on what they have done to support women they have worked with, what worked, what didn’t, and what they would do differently.
Objectives
- Give examples of the practical action’s individuals can take, as part of their everyday roles, to support women’s progression at work.
- Reinforce that responsibility for gender equality sits across teams and projects, not just with senior leaders or HR.
- Show how inclusive day‑to‑day actions improves collaboration, delivery quality and team effectiveness for clients and organisations.
