Young MCA Bath | Big Data – And What it Means for a Career in Consulting

Data is without a doubt one of the hottest topics in the world at the moment. Some have called it “The age of Big Data”. Harvard Business Review labelled data science “the sexiest job of the 21st Century”. As the impending tides of automation and “AI” loom large, can we shed some light on the reality of what is going on?” What does it all mean? And more to the point, what does it all mean for a career in management consultancy?

Join us for the Young MCA’s second event in the South West. BMT’s Data Scientists and Management Consultants will lead a discussion on the shift towards data-led decision making and unpack the buzzwords around digital change. We’ll explore the evolving role of management consultants and the demand for analytical acumen alongside soft skills. There will also be an opportunity for you to try out BMT’s Virtual Reality Suite.

Come along to connect with other Young MCA members in the South West and join in the discussion. Drinks and food will be provided.

The venue is a 5-minute walk from Bath Spa train station.
