In this MCA Year of Diversity event, the Consulting Excellence Academy will examine the challenges of recruiting, fostering and managing diverse teams. The session, which will appeal to business leaders and HR professionals alike, will consider in particular the issues associated with BAME recruitment. Despite the headline ethnic diversity of its workforce, evidenced in recent MCA surveys, the UK consulting industry needs to do more, especially to increase the representation of consultants of Black African and Black Caribbean origin.
Our expert panel will share their perspectives on these issues. There will then be breakout sessions focused on generating practical ideas for improving the diversity outcomes of consulting recruitment, fostering an inclusive culture, and managing diverse teams. The output of these sessions will be made available to the wider MCA, potentially as an issues checklist or toolkit.
