Young MCA Event | How to deliver a powerful presentation

29 November 2018 | 6:30 PM
Arcadis House, 34 York Way, Kings Cross, London N1 9AB

This is an opportunity to sharpen up your skills to convince and impress your audience, deliver ideas in a compelling way and handle questions and feedback with confidence!

Stephanie Hughes is an extremely seasoned presenter, having spent 18 years as a BBC broadcaster on national radio and television. She now focuses on communication skills which takes her around the world. She has covered everything from prepping people to appear in front of commons select committees to coaching FTSE 100 CEOs for key presentations or meetings, giving interview candidates a final boost of confidence, and preparing teams for significant pitches.

Brimming with energy and ideas, Stephanie will deliver a lively and informative session, from which we are sure you will take away many practical tools that you can implement immediately.  The session will include:

  • Energy - it’s importance in presenting, running meetings and generally in life!  Stephanie will look at using energy and impact to get the right results, ways to build confidence and practical tips to improve delivery, including using power tools!
  • Achieving your goals - by looking at the objectives for any situation more clearly,  in terms of where you are now as well as where you want to be,  this practical session could help significantly increase your chances of achieving a successful outcome with future discussions and proposals.
  • Putting together a convincing and compelling argument - Stephanie will talk us through some useful and practical tools to help us to think on our feet more quickly and assimilate a clear and more compelling response.
