Charity Partner

The MCA is delighted to announce the MCA Awards 2024 annual charity partner. This year we are raising funds for Show Racism the Red Card.

Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) is the UK’s leading anti-racism education charity. The majority of the campaign’s work involves the delivery of educational workshops to young people and adults in schools, workplaces and at events held at sports venues. Across the UK, SRtRC provides educational sessions to more around 75,000 individuals per year, along with hosting the UK’s largest equalities themed competition for schools.

As well as utilising the high-profile status of football and football players to help tackle racism in society, the charity has also expanded into other sports and involved other personalities. Last year, SRtRC surpassed the landmark milestone of engaging one million people in their educational programmes.
