The MCA is committed to creating a safe, professional, inclusive and respectful environment at all MCA activities and events. Our Events Code of Conduct and Expected Standards sets out the behaviour expected of everyone who attends, supports or participates in MCA events and activities.
The Code applies to all MCA events, including MCA Awards and receptions, Council meetings, working groups and committees, Young MCA events, regional events, member meetings and roundtables, networking receptions and dinners, workshops, webinars, and meetings hosted by the MCA with external stakeholders. It applies to MCA employees and event staff, guests, members, speakers, panellists, attendees, sponsors, media, contractors, freelancers, venue personnel, security, caterers and all other suppliers or third parties.
The MCA expects all participants to treat others with dignity, courtesy and respect, maintain professional standards of behaviour and contribute to an environment where everyone feels welcome and able to participate. The Code makes clear that discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation, unwanted physical contact and other inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
The Code also supports members, suppliers, and the MCA in maintaining safe events and reflects our commitment to taking proactive steps to prevent harassment and inappropriate behaviour.
Please download and review the MCA Events Code of Conduct and Expected Standards before attending or participating in MCA activities.
