David Freedman

David’s role for over 16 years at Huthwaite International has been selling the skills of selling.

He began his career at the National Economic Development Office and then worked in Paris for three years as a speech writer for the President of IBM Europe. He later founded marketing services consultancy The Business Works and then became Managing Director of Hill Murray Public Relations. He provided consultancy and strategic advice at CEO level for high-profile companies including IBM, HP, BAE Systems, and Logica, as well as a variety of fast-growing software companies.

David joined Huthwaite in 2002 as Business Director overseeing the acquisition of clients for Huthwaite’s range of sales and negotiation skills solutions in the technology sector. In 2009 he was appointed Director of Sales in a period of renewed growth. He has driven some of Huthwaite's largest successful deals and has led the sales team across all Huthwaite International territories, managing major bids, linking sales and marketing operations and forging industry partnerships.

David is a Fellow of the Association of Professional Sales, a council member of the MCA, and former Chairman of the CIPR MarComs group. He has spoken about selling and negotiation skills for Huthwaite at many international conferences and was on the judging panels for the National Sales Awards and the National Business Awards for many years.
