Infrastructure has invested heavily in digital tools, but siloed systems mean efficiency gains have been limited. EY argues that agentic AI can act as an “intelligence layer” connecting fragmented data, improving insight, coordination and decision-making. Combined with human judgment, it could reduce costly inefficiencies and speed up infrastructure delivery.
