Margarita is a highly accomplished AI leader with a proven track record of innovation, mentorship, and academic success. Margarita’s leadership is evident in her roles spearheading research proposals, fostering academic alliances as the Deloitte AI Institute lead, and driving impactful projects for a large Public Sector client. Her PhD and TechWomen100 award recognise her significant contributions to the field of AI.
Margarita’s expertise in AI is internationally recognised within both consulting and academia. This is evidenced by her work with the Australia, United Kingdom, United States (AUKUS) team on AI and standards, which enables AI exchange at pace. Her deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP) is showcased in her client projects and her current research on a Generative AI-powered search app.
Margarita is deeply committed to nurturing future talent, as is demonstrated through her active mentorship of women in tech. She has also contributed as panellist for the One Tech World discussion on getting women into the tech industry and volunteered to support at industry events such as the Bath University student fair.
Margarita is passionate about driving innovation. She is strongly committed to the further advancement of innovation through her academic research which has been published in leading AI and technology peer-reviewed journals. She is inspired by applying research for societal benefit, which is the reason why she chose public services as her preferred client and volunteers as the academic alliances manager for the Deloitte AI institute.
