The MCA supports industry efforts to improve progress on diversity and inclusion, implementing best practice and monitoring the diversity of the consultancy sector workforce over time. One of the key areas of focus is promoting women in consulting, championing inspirational stories, sharing ideas and working to encourage women in the sector, to increase progression at senior levels in the industry.
The MCA Women in Consulting Working Group meet regularly to discuss important topics within this agenda.
Over 350 MCA members attended the MCA Women in Consulting launch event in 2020, hosted by Maryam Moshiri, Chief News Presenter, BBC and with speakers from PwC, Mott Macdonald, EY, KPMG, Cadence Innova and Deloitte. A video was also produced which showed the responses of member firms on why they think it is important that there is drive in encouraging women into the consulting sector and increasing progression.
