Young Consultant of the Year
Claire Hampson joined Grant Thornton in 2015 as a data analyst with a particular interest in understanding people and places. Since then she has played a leading and central role in the development of an online analysis tool (CFO Insights). The tool allows councils to understand their relative financial performance against their peers, in the context of their local population and key service outcomes. It captures the complexity of local government financials but presented it in a digestible and accessible way.
She has brought her data analysis skills and tools in order to address some of the most significant challenges facing public services today: austerity, Brexit and Covid 19.
