Danielle Cragg, NECS Consultancy

Apprentice of the Year

Since joining NECS in April 2021 as a Business Administration Apprentice, Danielle quickly became a valued member of the consultancy team, demonstrating the contribution that can be delivered by apprentices. Danielle turns all her experiences into opportunities to learn and develop and has excelled in her apprenticeship course, delivering work that is of distinction standard.

In her first year at NECS Danielle has worked on two projects, the Humber Coast and Vale ICS Transition Programme and the Bradford Out of Hospital Care Project. At one point she was supporting on both programmes simultaneously which required excellent organisation and PMO skills. She was able to deal with any challenges calmly and professionally.

In both programmes Danielle has provided exemplary support in terms of document production, diary management and in the development of tools to aid with the organisation of meetings and events. The high quality of her work and stakeholder engagement skills have helped her to build strong relationships with clients and she has received excellent feedback for her work.

Alongside her project work Danielle has supported with the Comms and Marketing blog post initiative for the Yorkshire and Humber team. She has also supported with the organisation and facilitation of several recruitment events for the Yorkshire and Humber and Northwest consultancy teams.

Danielle has delivered more than was expected by NECS from an “apprentice” over the past 12 months and there is no doubt that future apprentice opportunities will be created as a result of her performance.
