Chartered Management Consultant of the year
Kevin is honoured to be nominated for this award, recognising his leadership and delivery on complex transformation programmes within the Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP).
Kevin is a senior transformation leader with 12 years’ consulting experience defining and delivering complex, large-scale end to end transformation programmes. He’s a certified Project and Programme Manager and a CIPD accredited Change Manager, specialising in translating business needs into solutions that enhance both workforce engagement and the customer experience. He is passionate about building and leading high-performing teams and preparing organisations for major change.
His contribution to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) Connect to Work Programme is one of particular pride for him. The UK has the highest level of economic inactivity of all G7 countries and there are 1.9m people in the UK who would like to work but are not participating in the labour market due to health issues of disability. The funding for Connect to Work will help around 100,000 disabled people, those with health conditions and people with complex barriers to employment to find sustainable work each year, by offering them voluntary support based on the high-fidelity model of Supported Employment.
During 18 months of service on the Programme, Kevin played a pivotal role in leading the service design and implementation planning for the service. His ability to translate high-level policy direction into actionable design themes, drive stakeholder alignment across all levels of the organisation and manage large-scale programme execution under significant pressure was instrumental in the programme’s success.
