Throughout his career, Rich has always put people first. Whether leading the creation of AtkinsRéalis’ first consulting apprentice programme to give opportunities to people from all backgrounds; alleviating some of the cost burden for childcare to working parents by delivering thirty hours free childcare; managing a practice of over 150 people; or being the catalyst for strategy and transformation within the UK government, Rich’s passion for people and problem-solving shines through.
Rich was one of the first 25 consultants to be Chartered in the UK and, for the last five years, has been one of its strongest advocates. He’s sponsored or mentored over 10% of AtkinsRéalis’ Chartered Consultants and loves how Chartership doesn’t discriminate on background or professional qualifications, allowing everyone the opportunity to build a thriving career within consulting.
At an industry level, he’s championed this belief and by aligning his firm’s apprentice scheme to the Chartered Manager Degree programme, AtkinsRéalis apprentice cohorts are some of the most diverse in the company.
