Victoria Palmer combines a dauntless drive for inclusion with the best qualities of a consultant: crystal clear communication and goal setting, true leadership by example and applying critical thinking to problems that seem insurmountable at first. Her efforts are bearing results at a critical time for our team, as a small and fast-growing team within the blossoming industry of data science. Her work is pushing for diversity at every level within the company: small “Inclusion Moments” as part of weekly catch-ups, providing external mentoring to team members and taking the discussion to the highest levels of the global business. Victoria’s collaborative approach has been key to her success, as it has brought together our Employee Resource Groups, allies across the team, the People team for recruitment and retention and business leadership. By taking an agile approach, she has used her experience in managing and delivering projects to push these initiatives, closely tracking progress and accountability with a prioritised backlog.
