Ben Richardson is Managing Partner at CF where he leads our work in Life Science, Data Science and Health Investing.
In life sciences he has supported topics including value and access, improving the uptake of innovation, leveraging data and digital, supporting partnership working with health systems.
In data sciences he has focused on accessing data, applied data science to create insights, and building scalable applications for health systems and life sciences companies. He has a particular interest in how data can be used to support population health management, operational effectiveness and heath inequalities.
In health investing Ben has worked with investors and portfolio companies on due diligence and growth strategies.
Ben’s thought leadership activities focus on macroeconomics and health, health inequality and life sciences. He has also published extensively on the impact of Covid including its impact on cancer, cardiovascular disease, long term conditions and mental health.
Prior to joining CF, Ben was a Partner at McKinsey where he was for 15 years. At McKinsey Ben led the firm’s work in integrated care and healthcare value for Europe. He has worked across the whole of the healthcare sector in the UK, Europe, America, Africa and Australia.
Ben trained as an economist at Harvard following pursuing ancient history at Princeton.
