Technology Consultant of the Year
Clare is a Technical Consultant for IBM. She originally started at IBM as an apprentice, and organically paved her impressive career from automation testing to project leadership in technical transformation. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Clare accepted the challenge to lead the design, build and delivery of one of the most complex programmes seen for years with a leading telecommunications client. This client was at risk of not being able to keep their 8 million customers connected, during a time when being connected was paramount.
Through Clare’s excellent communication, stakeholder management and driver of technical advancement, she became a trusted advisor to the client. Clare led the adoption of new methodologies which helped the successful delivery of a server consolidation programme, which fundamentally changed the foundations (refresh and modernise) of the Client’s technical estate. Her successful delivery ensured no loss of service, significant reduction of the client’s risk profile, improved performance and stability, ultimately enhancing the experience for all end users. This flawless outcome with minimal business disruption achieved 10/10 customer satisfaction and through Clare’s dedication saw a change in attitude towards technical transformations and embraced new ways of working.
Clare has a unique combination of technical skills, deep empathy and emotional intelligence, to deliver first of a kind programmes, providing first class services.
Clare advances new technologies and approaches through coaching and nurturing young professionals. She is an empowered female leader and instils a continuous improvement approach within her team to deliver mission critical transformations, with a client-first mentality.
