Lewis Gough, Deloitte

Lewis-Gough-Deloitte

Apprentice of the Year

Lewis is a fourth-year apprentice in Deloitte’s Supply Chain and Network Optimisation practice. Over the past three years, he has supported some of Deloitte’s largest public sector clients to transform for the future through data analytics and operating model redesign.

Consistently exceeding the expectations of his grade, Lewis brings fresh perspectives to our clients’ toughest challenges and is trusted to represent the firm at the highest levels. He was even entrusted with creating materials that were directly presented to the Home Secretary during a nationally critical procurement project for a UK Central Government client.

Lewis is passionate about delivering tangible and sustainable improvements to public services. Since specialising in Health & Social Care, he has developed deep expertise in designing future-focused operating models for healthcare clients, as well as producing thought leadership to spark innovation and positive change. He successfully developed a Target Operating Model for a leading NHS organisation and presented it to the CEO and Executive Board, which is now in the final stages of implementation.

Alongside client commitments, Lewis champions Deloitte’s social impact work and mentors junior talent. He has led successful fundraising campaigns for children’s and mental health charities and is currently co-ordinating Deloitte’s 2023 Impact Day events involving 150 volunteers.

Lewis is a keen advocate for apprenticeships and undertakes outreach work to raise awareness about alternative pathways into consulting and professional services. He recently organised a full-day workshop at a London school with interview training and careers advice for 50+ students.
