Apprentice of the Year
Aiden was attracted to consulting because it’s generally forward-looking, which appeals to him both personally and professionally. Providing transformational change support to clients allows him to be forward-looking day in, day out. Aiden was especially motivated to become part of the PwC family, thanks to the variety and importance of the projects the firm’s involved in.
Aiden demonstrates a mature approach to his work, providing sustained solutions for his team and clients, and adapting to changing circumstances and requirements. This sets him apart as an apprentice with a difference. Aiden’s versatility to adapt to complex and changing conditions is exemplified by his ability to reprioritise his tasks and activities at short notice, when demands change. He demonstrates initiative and a highly positive attitude when working by himself, and his energy, thoughtful suggestions, and support are also invaluable to the teams he works in. Aiden’s disposition helps him to build strong and meaningful relationships with people at all levels, and his easy-going manner makes him approachable and a pleasure to work with.
His immediate goal for the future is to delve deeper into projects focused on people-centred change, whether this be front-end with customer journeys, or culture changes at a client that needs help aligning to successful, modern-day ways of working. His aim to specialise in either the financial services or private sector, championing change that makes a positive and tangible impact to peoples’ livelihood in one way or another. To achieve this, he says, would be immeasurably fulfilling.
