In his first year and a half in consulting, Shiv has achieved remarkable success in both client work and internal initiatives. Transitioning from a community pharmacist during the COVID-19 pandemic, Shiv quickly recognised a desire to delve deeper into solving complex business issues while continuing to serve the NHS. Upon joining Akeso’s health and care team, he quickly established himself as a proactive and extremely capable consultant, consistently exceeding expectations for someone of his level.
From making an immediate impact by supporting a major public sector procurement worth over £250m to leading national engagement strategy design and execution for a high-profile client project, Shiv has consistently showcased his ability to tackle complex problems, innovate solutions, and build strong client relationships, resulting in tangible outcomes and public sector savings.
Throughout projects, Shiv has embraced scale, challenge, and learning opportunities. He has shown reliability and adaptability in fast-paced environments, offering insightful recommendations and going above and beyond to meet client needs. A testament to his abilities, he is consistently in demand to support on a myriad of projects.
Not content with just producing exceptional client work, Shiv has also delivered an impressive portfolio of internal work. With a passion for advocacy, he actively participates in the Young MCA and the MCA D&I working group. He also fosters Akeso’s culture by founding and leading the firm’s EDI group, organising training workshops on sensitive topics and cultural events. Committed to serving patients and clients, Shiv embodies exceptional work and character within the consulting community.
