Team Leader Consultant of the Year
Helen is a Managing Consultant and Programme Manager at Resulting. Over the last 7 years, she has progressed through several leadership roles, both internally and externally, culminating in her most recent programme management role at ASDA.
In her role as the Programme Manager for ASDA’s SAP-enabled business transformation, Helen is at the forefront of a complex and time-pressured programme. This has required adept stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate clearly across all levels of seniority in both the business and the programme team. Transparency has been a cornerstone of this relationship with senior leaders, serving as a trusted advisor, providing an honest assessment of risk, and fostering a relationship built both on credibility and a commitment to the highest standards.
Adaptability has been a central tenet of Helen’s role as a programme manager and team leader. She seeks to understand what makes people different and what makes them tick, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and natural empathy. This helps her adjust and align her leadership style to meet both the dynamic needs of a complex programme, and the day-to-day interactions with team members, providing coaching, support and guidance when needed.
Outside of her programme commitments at ASDA, Helen is passionate about supporting the development of others. Helen plays a key role in the delivery leadership team at Resulting, with a specific focus on defining the development pathways for junior consultants and analysts. Helen’s mission is to develop the management consultants of the future and her energy, enthusiasm, and innate ability to inspire will undoubtedly ensure that they share in collective success.
