Young Consultant of the Year
I have always had an interest in highways and how the asset is managed from an early age, with my grandfather establishing a specialist highways firm in 1947 and so I suppose it is natural that I have become a Consultant with a particular specialism in highways asset management.
I initially developed in-depth knowledge as a graduate technician, processing complex highways asset condition data for local councils. Ascertaining this unique, specialist knowledge at this early stage in my career subsequently provided me with an invaluable foundation with in-depth understanding my client needs and enhanced my approach to constructing and delivering effective consulting projects and partnerships throughout my early consulting career.
I developed into leading consulting role, delivering bespoke consulting services for a range of local highway authorities before progressing to a leading role on a large strategic programme with National Highways. My approach to consulting service delivery has resulted in long term, multi-year partnerships, still in place today.
Testament to these partnerships, I have co-delivered a number of presentations together the client, sharing best practice and knowledge with the wider industry at large conferences. I have a passion to engage with and inspire the next generation of young professionals within our industry. I am experienced in leading and chairing a number of industry groups, representing young professionals.
