Technology Consultant of the Year
Ed recognises that driving digital technology change is more than a technical challenge. It is about the people who will benefit from the new technology and how they can get the most value out of it. And key to his success across a wide variety of projects – from automating code deployments through to designing global-scaled agile operating models – is how he engages with people. Ed has a human-centric nature and brings clients on digital technology journeys through his empathy and humour.
He has been delivering value to clients through innovative technology transformations across a wide breadth of technologies, from automation platforms and digital products to ERP systems. Working across the Energy and Government sectors, Ed uses digital technology to deliver quantifiable value and save money for clients. His unique ability to join business and IT thinking enables him to remove the traditional barriers between teams by embracing product centricity. He believes IT is an old-fashioned concept – one that creates barriers for a business to deliver value at pace.
Ed’s impact extends far beyond clients. He emphasises helping his teams and colleagues to drive value from technology and believes this is a critical enabler to the future success of the Consulting industry. By leading his broader team’s (100+ people) L&D approach, Ed has supported 60+ consultants in gaining external accreditations, helping ensure consultants are ready to meet future client demands.
