Jo Radford Cutler, EY

Inclusion Award

MCA Awards 2025 FinalistJo is a Partner in the People Consulting Practice. She works primarily with public sector clients, focusing on improving leadership and skills to enable leaders, their teams and their organisations to thrive. Jo’s belief is that when teams and individuals can be themselves, this ripple effect brings benefits to their organisation, their clients and society as a whole.

Growing up with experience of homelessness and domestic challenges, Jo has always been serious about providing opportunities for people to excel and develop their own careers. She is known for her ability to create teams based on high expectations and high levels of trust and inclusion and is regularly sought out as a mentor and coach. She is also renowned for being an advocate for balancing career performance and life. And she is a founder member of the social equity network, a regular participant in reverse mentoring with the race and ethnicity network, and an advocate for working parents.

In her client delivery, Jo spends most of her time working with public sector clients on the creation of inclusive, high-performing cultures and building teams with the skills to deliver improved outcomes for UK citizens. Notable key roles include working on the Home Office’s response to the Windrush scandal, her work helping Metropolitan Police’s leadership to develop a plan for culture change, and her work on inclusivity culture. All this aligns with Jo’s personal beliefs and values, and her purpose to help others thrive – because if individuals can thrive, ultimately so can wider society.
