Squarcle helps clients modernise, de-risk and transform the performance of their organisations by better using data to drive efficiency in their supply chain operations. Established in 2020 by an ex Royal Logistic Corps soldier and a big-four consultant, we bring together people with deep sector knowledge with those who have expertise in data science and technology to deliver transformative results for our clients.
In 2024, we were named the fourth fastest growing professional services company in the UK Fast Growth Index and in the last twelve months, both revenue and headcount have doubled.
We serve a diverse range of clients from FTSE 100 companies to government departments. We have a particular focus on the defence sector where we have built a reputation for agility and delivering complex projects at pace. Our customers trust us to take on their most difficult problems and deliver solutions and we’re proud of our satisfaction score of more than 90%. Returning clients accounted for more than two thirds of our new business over the last twelve months.
We have continually invested in our internal governance systems to ensure we maintain operational excellence. We are also driving innovation, launching SquarcleLabs to empower our team to develop tools that will enable clients to be even more efficient and effective. We are investing more than £1.2m in digital talent and infrastructure over the next twelve months to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation AI and business operations.
Our flat structure and wider culture are part of what makes Squarcle different, and we encourage all our people to have a voice in what we do, regardless of seniority. The number one priority of our board is to ensure our staff feel both happy and supported to deliver their best.
Our sector and technical specialists participate in our in-house academy which enables consultants to expand their knowledge and gain skills by tapping into the wide range of expertise within the business. We complement this by bringing all our staff together for a week of personal and professional development once a year. We are proud of our graduate training programme which provides a structured mix of technical, industry and consulting skills and more than 4 in 5 of all our trainees are still with Squarcle today.
As a busy consultancy, we actively encourage open conversations about health and wellbeing and regularly survey our people to inform conversations in our Senior Leadership Team. Our Mental Health Committee runs a programme of training and events throughout the year and we ensure wellbeing and mental health are always the first agenda item at our Friday, companywide, staff meeting.
We have a strong commitment to recruiting people from all walks of life and through our links with the Armed Forces, provide opportunities to service leavers from all social backgrounds whose capabilities are sometimes overlooked in the civilian world. In 2024, we were honoured to receive the Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award for our outstanding support towards the Armed Forces community.
