The timeline for the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) Awards in 2023 has been announced by the industry body for the consulting sector. The MCA Awards is the most prestigious and biggest event in the UK consulting calendar and champions the work done by consultants in partnership with clients as well as the talent across the sector. In recent years the MCA Awards has achieved unprecedented interest with record numbers of entries from over 50 leading consulting firms and 85 client organisations.
The MCA is hosting a launch event for the MCA Awards to assist firms in planning for the event and this will take place on 13 October 2022 with details of the new timeline, deadlines, and entry requirements. Judges and past participants will be attending the event to talk about their experiences and advice as well as an overview of the two entry routes available – Individual and Project categories as well as the Best New Consultancy category.

“After a record year in 2022 with tables now completely sold out for the MCA Awards Ceremony in November, we are now pleased to be launching the MCA Awards in 2023 with a new timeline and schedule. Do join us for this launch event to start your firm early and to hear from some of our experienced judges on how to prepare the best submissions.”
The MCA Awards are judged by over 45 judges drawn from a variety of backgrounds including academia, the media industry, government and the private sector. With every submission independently assessed, each judge has to sign a strict code of conduct and follow a marking and interview process with clear guidelines and criteria. Judges for 2022 included Simon Jack, BBC Business Editor; Jacky Wright, Microsoft’s Digital Officer; Jacqui Rock, NHS England’s Chief Commercial Officer; Rupert McNeil, Government’s Chief People Officer and Nick Owen CBE, former Chair of Deloitte, highlighting the range of judges in place.
For 2023, there will be a new venue reflecting the increased significance and growth of the awards over the last five years, and the Ceremony will be held at The Grosvenor Hotel in London in October 2023.
