Three new members elected to serve on the MCA Board

Three new members have been elected to serve on the Board of the MCA (Management Consultancies Association), the trade and representative association for the UK’s leading management consulting firms.

The new members are Rachel Sanders of AECOM, Lucinda Peniston-Baines of Roth Observatory, and Nick Ringrose of Atkins. They will take up their new roles immediately.

The MCA has grown significantly in membership over the last two years, and has recently established new functions such as the MCA Think Tank and its Consultancy Buyers Forum. Next month, the Young MCA will mark its 10th anniversary at a special event and celebration.

Welcoming the new members to the MCA Board, Alan Leaman, Chief Executive of the MCA said:

“Our industry is both diverse and very exciting. It is great to see the range of companies now represented on our Board, and throughout the membership. Rachel, Lucinda and Nick all have a strong commitment to the future of the consulting industry and will also bring the benefits of their insight and experience.”

Chris Cooper has also now stepped back from his role as MCA President because of personal commitments. Stephen Cavanagh of Mott Macdonald will serve as Acting President of the MCA until the regular election process takes place at the Association’s AGM in March 2016.
