The Management Consultancies Association is delighted to announce that Turnstone Services, a specialist consultancy in procurement and IT tendering, has joined the Association.
Founded in 2006, the consultancy eases the process of tendering for software, services and telecoms, including the contract negotiations phase and ongoing vendor management. This enables clients to more regularly test the market, be confident they have the best solution at the right price and to manage their risk exposure.
David Brook, Managing Director, Turnstone Services said:
“We work tirelessly to help our clients gain competitive advantage by maximising value and quality from their third party IT spend – an area often managed by overstretched IT or procurement staff. Our consultants are the answer, whether assisting retenders and renewals, or providing staff training, you can imagine the benefit that dedicated market experts bring.
We’re enormously proud to be part of the MCA and look forward to sharing ideas with other members and developing our consultancy practice.”
Alan Leaman, Chief Executive of the MCA said:
“We’re delighted that Turnstone has joined the MCA as their expertise in forging effective commercial relationships and ensuring that their clients get the most value from suppliers is a hot topic across the industry. In addition to this, I am certain that Turnstone will contribute their views to our future work around buying digital and how the public sector can utilise consultancy expertise to achieve its aim of being the most digital government in the G8 by 2015.”
The MCA's member companies comprise over 60 per cent of the UK consulting industry in fee income, employ around 35,000 consultants and work with over 90 of the top FTSE 100 companies and almost all parts of the public sector. All members adhere to the MCA Code of Practice that provides the consultancy buyer with reassurance that MCA firms maintain the highest standards.
