Eve Watson-Brown, EY

Young Consultant of the Year

MCA Awards 2025 FinalistEve is a Senior Consultant in Business Consulting and part of the Grants Management team. Eve was drawn to Grants Management for the social, environmental and economic impact that she could deliver in her day-to-day work, and now supports governments in doing just that – effectively disbursing billions of pounds in grant funding.

She has become a ‘go-to’ expert in the grants space, with a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and practical knowledge of the EY Grants Accelerator (EYGA) technology platform. This dual expertise allows Eve to effectively translate business requirements into technology outcomes, facilitating the rapid deployment of solutions.

Eve’s stand-out achievements include leading the development of business requirements in the EY team’s flagship contract with the Scottish Government to manage its Heat & Energy Efficiency Grants & Loan scheme portfolio. Her work helped to roll out a technology platform within 12 weeks of winning the contract, and she continues to lead the workstream today. Her work has contributed to an improvement in customer satisfaction, significantly reduced processing times, reduced administration costs and ultimately delivered a significant carbon reduction.

Eve has also demonstrated a flair for business development. She’s contributed to securing additional key UK&I client deals for the global EY organisation, including those with two large government departments.
