Thought Leader Consultant of the Year
Optimising service through effective use of technology. That’s Chris’s passion, backed with his ability to translate industry theory into innovative, easy-to-follow and concise practical steps tailored for each client. Feedback is consistently excellent across all types and sizes of engagement, with Chris being seen as a straight-talking trusted advisor.
Chris’s path to consultancy took 18 years. Following an in-company Business Management degree, Chris ‘fell’ into IT at the request of a UK insurer to provide more “business” in IT. Chris supported different teams every 6 to 18 months taking on varying responsibilities to obtain a rounded view. Moves to an investment bank, wholesaler and university followed (complimented by running an Events business), before stepping into formal consultancy.
Chris’s combination of skills provides, firstly, strategic service, technology and organisational design thought leadership, backed by in-depth ownership and delivery experience across the full spectrum of IT & Change disciplines. Secondly, business and financial analysis, enabling the identification and clear articulation of detailed requirements and benefits. And thirdly, portfolio and project management, to define plans/budgets and subsequently articulate, sell and deliver the identified organisation, process and technology improvements.
Chris’s approach is guided by his four core values; proactive, positive, professional and integrity. Chris embodies this, demonstrating a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo, deep creative thinking and relentless perseverance for excellence while being grounded in the reality of each client’s business constraints. Chris always strives to make a positive lasting difference in everything he does.
