Technology Consultant of the Year
Guy started work straight from school, progressing through a number of roles to become a senior manager at PwC by the age of 23. As one of the few Salesforce Certified Technical Architects in the UK, he now designs technical solutions for the firm’s largest, most complex clients.
Guy uses his technical knowledge to reduce project risk and increase the certainty and quality of delivery for his clients. He is deeply technical, but also capable of having business conversations with very senior stakeholders, getting great feedback from all of them.
With a focus on ensuring the highest standards, Guy strives to equip clients with technology that allows them to grow and evolve in line with their strategies. Playing a key role as PwC’s Salesforce Architecture & Development Lead, he works to define optimal approaches across both technology and methodology, establishing architecture principles, security best practises and delivery approaches.
Guy is equally strong in the bid space, recently understanding one of the most complex bespoke-build RFPs that PwC has ever seen. Having designed and priced the solution, Guy then presented a demo of how the system would look and feel, which simply blew the client away.
Since making the move into consulting, Guy has never looked back. He hopes to continue working in this space, cementing PwC as a leader in complex digital transformation. He also hopes to champion technology pro bono projects within PwC, supporting businesses that are doing great work in the charity sector.
