Rising Star
Laura has always had an appetite to create meaningful work that positively impacts others. She believes it is this desire that drives her to go over and above in her consulting career.
Laura takes us through her story, demonstrating that despite facing a challenging start in consulting, she has been capable of making a real impact with clients, within the retail industry, and at BearingPoint UK after only 1 year as a consultant.
During this year, Laura has proved she is driven and enterprising whilst maintaining a focus on people and building relationships. She has developed a well-rounded set of skills, proactively making use of all resources available, from YouTube tutorials on SQL and Tableau to interviewing senior leaders in retail companies.
Laura has proved her ability to manage people and established herself as a great communicator and trusted advisor, completing work with minimal management supervision and input. She has been instrumental in a range of client projects from the get-go, leaving a lasting impact through all her work.
Between client engagements, Laura has made an excellent contribution to BearingPoint. She has a genuine strategic mindset that enabled her to play a key role in internal projects. Her impactful work has clearly been recognised, leading to her being awarded BearingPoint’s Newcomer of the Year 2021 and why she has been nominated for the MCA Rising Star award.
