Louise Black, PwC

Technology Consultant of the Year

Louise is a director within PwC’s Financial Services (FS) practice in Northern Ireland, and for the past 10 years has focused on delivering technology-enabled transformational change for clients. She’s part of PwC’s disruption team in FS, and supports the bank of the future initiative, leveraging fintech and API technology to deliver innovative solutions.

Louise has been an inspirational consultant and leader during 2021, delivering two high-profile engagements, and leading her teams through some complex, high-pressure work. She is truly client-focused, always striving to achieve the best outcomes for clients, and pushing the boundaries of technology delivery.

Alongside those high-pressure engagements, Louise takes real pride in supporting the growth of talent in her firm, and is an ambassador for women in technology. What makes this even more outstanding is that Louise is based in Belfast, whilst working with a Banking & Capital Markets team that has historically been very London-centric. Louise is an important regional leader in Northern Ireland, coaching others and leading the way on what can be achieved.

Louise is proud to represent a regional office, and at the same time, loves the benefits of being part of a truly global organisation that can deliver technology transformation across many different territories. She uses PwC’s scale and innovation to design and deliver spectacular solutions for its clients.

Throughout all her work, she brings personality, authenticity, an extremely positive mindset, and a smile, which has been key to making Louise an outstanding technology consultant and role model for PwC.
