Team Leader Consultant of the Year
Will Browne is a Associate Partner at CF, a health care and data science consultancy. Will is focused on accelerating innovation in the NHS through data science and software in order to overcome health inequalities and deliver measurable improvements for patients in the UK. Will was a data scientist and product manager at two machine learning startups before joining BCG as a data scientist. He believes that there is huge potential in bringing together the approaches of a tech start up with the problem solving of a consultancy.
Will has built up a team of data innovators made up of consultants, product managers, designers, software engineers, data engineers and data scientists. Together these cross functional teams have been able to tackle some of the most challenging and urgent problems in the NHS
Over the last two years Will has led the development of award-winning software to help London NHS region respond to the pandemic, democratised the covid vaccination data to narrow the inequalities gap between ethnic groups and deprived areas and developed statistical models that quantify health inequalities across the UK.
Will is dedicated to the development of the team, encouraging engineers to become both technical experts and compelling communicators. Through this he has developed new competency frameworks, career paths and business lines. Opening up opportunities for clients and colleagues
