Annabelle Perry, EY

Young Consultant of the Year

MCA Awards 2024 Finalist

Annabelle is a Manager at EY and part of their Energy Transition team. Growing up in Brunei, she witnessed the effects of climate change and habitat destruction on both the physical environment and the people that live there. This has fuelled her deep sense of purpose, which she instils in her clients – where her work is crucial in the transition to clean energy.

Annabelle acts as a role model to other young consultants, demonstrating work that aligns with her sense of purpose. Today, she combines her technical and consulting skills, and leads diverse teams to help EY clients bridge the gap between technical and business-oriented stakeholders, to find solutions to their biggest challenges.

Her achievements include playing a lead role in an industry-first, deep sea Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (CCUS) project for the UK government. She is also Integration Lead in the creation of the National Energy System Operator – a new entity at the centre of the UK’s energy transition. Inside EY organisation, she was a founding member of EY Operations for net zero practice, a team redefining how clients operate as they manage the transition and leads internal initiatives around learning and best practice in Sustainability. Annabelle is positioning herself as a go-to-person in her field.

She was nominated as a ‘Person with Purpose’ and ‘Rising Star’ in EY International Women’s Day awards and was externally nominated as a ‘Rising Star in ESG’ in the Women of the Future awards.
